Privacy Policy

What we collect

Form information. When you request a report, you submit your brand name, brand domain, and email address. If you arrived from a vertical landing page, the URL slug is also recorded so we know which report pack to run.

Bot-protection data. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm your submission is human. Turnstile collects standard challenge-response data; we do not see the underlying signals.

Automatic data. When you visit hawkreports.com, our hosting and analytics providers collect standard request information including IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, language, referring URL, and pages visited. Cookies and similar technologies are used to support analytics and bot protection (see "Cookies" below).

Report data. When your report runs, we record the AI engine queries we sent on behalf of your brand, the responses we received, and the resulting analysis. We also record processing status (queued, running, complete, failed) for up to 7 days so you can track progress at the link sent to your email.

How we use your data

We use the information you submit to generate the report you requested and to email you when it is ready. We may follow up about the findings or to ask if you want a deeper version of the report.

We do not sell, rent, or license your information to third parties. Aggregate, de-identified data may be used to improve the service and develop industry benchmarks.

Data sharing and disclosure

To generate your report, we share specific data with the following service providers:

• OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity. We send AI engine queries that include your brand name, brand domain, industry, and category-specific prompts to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews to test how each engine answers questions in your space. We do not include your email or any individual's name in these queries.
• SerpAPI. We use SerpAPI to retrieve search-engine data about your brand and category. SerpAPI receives the query strings; it does not receive your email.
• ScrapingBee. For reports that include directory authority signals (Avvo for legal verticals, DealerRater for auto), we use ScrapingBee to fetch public profile pages. ScrapingBee receives the public URL being fetched; it does not receive your email.
• Pleper. For local-search reports we use Pleper to retrieve public Google Business Profile data. Pleper receives the place identifier; it does not receive your email.
• Anthropic Claude. Claude is used to synthesize your final report from the collected data. Anthropic does not retain API inputs or use them for model training.
• Resend (email delivery). Your email address is used to deliver the link to your finished report.
• Cloudflare. Cloudflare provides bot protection (Turnstile), DNS, CDN, worker hosting for the front-end, and object storage (R2) where your finished report is stored and served from at an unguessable link. Standard request data passes through Cloudflare's edge.
• Railway. Railway hosts the back-end worker that runs your report and stores its status.
• Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager. We use GTM to load Google Analytics and similar tags. These tools collect anonymized analytics about how the site is used. They do not receive your form submissions.

We do not share, transfer, or disclose your information to any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, retargeting, or profiling beyond standard analytics.

AI processing

HAWK Reports is fundamentally an AI-research tool. Generating your report requires sending queries about your brand, category, and competitors to multiple AI search engines and one synthesis model (Claude). The information sent is your brand name, brand domain, industry classification, and category-specific test prompts. Your email address and any individual's name are never sent to AI engines.

Data protection

• All data transmitted between your browser and HAWK Reports is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).
• All data transmitted between HAWK Reports and the third-party APIs listed above is encrypted via TLS.
• Production database access is limited to authenticated application credentials.
• Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel.

Data retention

Report status records are retained for up to 7 days, after which they are purged. Finished reports remain available at their report link until you request deletion. The form information you submitted (brand name, domain, email) is retained for follow-up purposes.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@clickmakers.io. We will delete your form information, the report, and any associated processing records within 30 days of your request.

Cookies and similar technologies

HAWK Reports uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

• Bot protection. Cloudflare Turnstile sets a short-lived cookie to remember that you passed its challenge.
• Analytics. Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count unique visitors and measure engagement on an aggregated basis.

You can clear cookies or block them at any time in your browser settings. Doing so may make it harder to submit the form (Turnstile challenge will appear repeatedly) but will not prevent you from receiving a report.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@clickmakers.io. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the EU's GDPR, the UK's UK GDPR, California's CCPA, or Canada's PIPEDA), those rights apply to your data and we honor them.

Children

HAWK Reports is a B2B tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of HAWK Reports after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
